Got back from Italy late Thursday evening, and WOW doesn’t say enough!
The trip started with a few days in the Assisi area of Italy. Going to Assisi has been a dream of mine for several years.
Assisi
Went spent most of the day there, and it was NO WHERE NEAR enough time!
From there we went on to a couple of other cities, ending in Rome. At Rome we saw several great sites, including the Pantheon:

The week basically ended with the Papal Audience on Wednesday:
Over all a GREAT trip!

Nope, wasn’t me. I had a REAL bad sinus infection going, and decided to stay in my room that day. Glad I did. Of the17 in my group, 10 went, 5 came back WELL before it started there were so many people there. The 5 that remained didn’t get all that close and had to watch from a big screen. The atmosphere for the whole trip was totally amazing!!
